General Description: IB Film SL aims to develop students' understanding of film through both analysis and filmmaking. The course explores film history, theory, and the cultural contexts in which films are created and received. Students will study a wide range of films, from popular to classic, and apply film language to analyze how meaning is communicated. Additionally, students will engage in the creative process of filmmaking—collaborating on scripts, storyboards, and producing their own films.
