General Description: This semester long course is designed to teach the fundamentals of photography. Students will investigate camera controls such as aperture, shutter speed, elements of composition, the history of photography and its influences, various types of photography, and post processing Photoshop techniques.

  • Photoshop editing techniques
  • Brief History of Photography
  • Critiques & Presentations

Homework: Students will complete, on average, 1 photo assignment per class period. Any assignments not completed in class will need to be finished as homework.

Course Fees / Materials: Digital cameras and Adobe CC are provided.
