General Description: This course explores the marketing practices and principles at both the retail and industrial level to give students an overview of the importance of marketing in the business world.

Homework: Students can expect approximately 15 minutes of homework on a daily basis or 75 minutes per week. Participation in DECA can lead to significant work outside of class.

• All students are provided DECA membership and may choose to take an active role in DECA conferences. These conferences provide students with the opportunity to travel and meet students from Washington State and throughout the United States. If students choose to participate in these events, additional costs will be incurred.
