General Description: AP Business Principles with Personal Finance introduces students to the knowledge and skills they’ll need to grow their careers, manage money, and get a head start toward the most popular college major in the U.S. Students will practice two essential components—business skills and professional and leadership skills—which are critical to the deep understanding and application of business and personal finance concepts..

Homework: As an AP course, this class follows a more academically rigorous schedule. This class will feature reading, and projects based on real-world business scenarios.

Note: 

  • All students are provided DECA membership and may choose to take an active role in DECA conferences. These conferences provide students with the opportunity to travel and meet students from Washington State and throughout the United States. If students choose to participate in these events, additional costs will be incurred.
