General Description: This course emphasizes understanding technical innovation and daily business functions, including marketing, human resources, management and finance. Students in their first year (SL) of IB Business Management have the option of sitting for the Standard Level exam in May.

Homework: Students may expect to be assigned homework related to their chosen DECA event. Time spent on homework will vary based on tasks required to complete DECA event tasks. 

Course Fees / Materials: IB Exam Fee as appropriate. If there is a concern about the cost, please see the ASB bookkeeper or your counselor.

Note: 

  • All students are provided DECA membership and may choose to take an active role in DECA conferences. These conferences provide students with the opportunity to travel and meet students from Washington State and throughout the United States. If students choose to participate in these events, additional costs will be incurred.
