Learning Recommendations: A C or better in French 1, along with retention of vocabulary and grammar concepts from French 1.

General Description: French 2 builds on the foundational skills acquired in French 1, focusing on further development in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The course follows the World Readiness Standards for Learning Languages, fostering communication skills in a variety of contexts while deepening cultural understanding. Students will engage in class primarily in French, practicing real-life interactions and discussing everyday topics. Instruction emphasizes cultural competence and connects language learning with academic and career-related contexts.
