Learning Recommendations: Students should have demonstrated proficiency in French 2, with a recommended C- or better, and be able to communicate effectively in the past, present, and future tenses.

General Description: French 3 provides students with an advanced exploration of the French language and Francophone cultures. Emphasizing communication skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing, this year-long course helps students engage with authentic texts, deepen their grammatical knowledge, and improve their conversational abilities. French will be the primary language of communication between students and the teacher, especially during the second semester. The curriculum covers interpersonal, interpretive, and presentational communication.
