General Description: IB Spanish HL is an advanced, yearlong course that builds upon IB Spanish SL, preparing students for the Higher Level IB Spanish exam. Students will engage with complex language and cultural topics, enhancing their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. Taught entirely in Spanish, the course demands high linguistic proficiency and active participation. HL students follow the same thematic units as SL students, but with higher standards and expectations.

Homework: Approximately 3-5 hours per week, including assignments in reading, writing, and preparation for presentations or discussions.
