Learning Recommendations:  Students should have successfully completed TV/Video Production 2 with a grade of B or better. 

General Description: This advanced course focuses on leadership, creativity, and technical expertise in video production. Students take an active leadership role in overseeing and supporting projects from TV/Video Production 1 and 2, while applying advanced video techniques and editing skills. They are responsible for producing professional-quality projects for school and community clients, as well as contributing to broadcasts such as SPTV. The course emphasizes innovation, teamwork, and mastery of broadcasting tools and techniques.

Content: 

  • Advanced video production and editing techniques.
  • Studio and field broadcast journalism.
  • Leadership and management in video production.
  • Creation of broadcasts, such as SPTV, and support videos for the community.
  • Exploration of Adobe Premiere and professional video equipment.

Homework: Students must complete 20 hours of out-of-class work, including filming events such as plays, concerts, and sporting activities, as well as contributing to live broadcast productions.
