General Description: Explore Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other industry-standard tools as image manipulation design tools and as a creative outlet. Learn how to use photos, graphics, and digital artworks to create art and business media. Apply principles of color theory and design. Learn how to use drawing programs and illustration tools to create special effects. Discover career and job opportunities that employ the hands-on and project-based skills covered in this course.

  • Digital image manipulation
  • Utilizing digital cameras and scanners
  • Color theory
  • Design theory
  • Practice using Adobe and other industry standards

Homework: Complete assignments not finished during class.
