Learning Recommendations: Successful completion of Woods Technology 1.

General Description: This is a comprehensive course in advanced woodworking skills and techniques. Planning and designing projects will be explored. Required project(s) are assigned and a large section of time will be set aside for students to select and produce their own projects of choice.  Each course builds upon the last and leads students to increasingly greater skill levels.

Content: 

• Lab and equipment safety
• Multiple hand and power tools
• Large stationary power tools
• Careers in woodworking construction, industrial trends, post-high school education requirements for various career-related employment trades

Homework: Complete assignments not finished during class.
