Learning Recommendations: Recommend a C- or better in Pre-Calculus. Interest in a math-based career path, desire to challenge oneself in mathematics, or a goal to demonstrate math-based rigor on the high school transcript.

General Description: This one-year course covers the topics of limits, derivatives, and integration, including their formulas for algebraic and transcendental functions. This course focuses on learning calculus centered on real-world applications for business and fundamentals of motion (supporting future studies in physics / STEM).  This course is a great onramp to calculus.

College Credit: Students earning an A or B in this course qualify at no cost for 5 Math credits for Math148 - Business Calculus at Bellevue College.
