General Description: Chamber Choir is a year-long elective for musicians interested in small ensemble performance. This performance ensemble is selected through auditions and is designed for soprano, alto, tenor, and bass voices in grades 9-12. The ensemble performs extensively, with concerts, community events, and festivals throughout the year, often during the school day. 

Content: 

• Students perform a variety of choral styles
• Development of individual vocal technique, music literacy, and aural skills
• Preparation for local and regional festivals, concerts, and community performances

Homework: Homework related to performance of a variety of music styles, individual vocal technique, music literacy, and aural skills.
