General Description: This year-long course covers the principles of both Microeconomics and Macroeconomics, preparing students to take the AP Microeconomics and AP Macroeconomics exams in the spring. The course examines economic systems, market structures, supply and demand, government roles, and international trade. Students may also participate in DECA and DECA competitive events.

  • The Financial Sector and Economic Growth
  • International Trade

Homework: 15-60 minutes of reading per night. Frequent quizzes and tests.

Additional Information: Completion of the course may qualify students for college credit through CTE Dual Credit. AP exam fees apply, and scholarships are available for those who qualify.
