As we celebrate the end of an incredible school year, Superintendent Tow-Yick shares a heartfelt thank you with our dedicated building leaders, staff, teachers, families, and caregivers for ensuring our students continue to grow and learn. She also shares the wonderful news that the Washington State Board of Education has recognized 13 of our schools for their outstanding work. Warm congratulations are also extended to all our students as they step into their next chapter — whether it's our graduates prepared for the future, our youngest learners coming to school for the first time or students moving up to a new grade level.
As we take time to reflect and prepare for the fall, these community updates will take a short summer break and return in August. We hope our entire community enjoys a well-deserved and restful time off.

Whatever your background, wherever you’re from, we are excited you’re here! Our diversity is a big part of what makes our schools great. No one racial group makes up a majority of our student body, and a significant portion are new to the United States — our families speak 95 different languages at home. Learning in an environment rich with different cultures and perspectives benefits all students and better prepares them for life in a global community.
