A Message of Gratitude and Summer Wishes

A Message of Gratitude and Summer Wishes

Dear ISD families, parents and caregivers,

Thank you for choosing Issaquah School District for your children and for the trust and confidence you place in our schools.

The 2025-26 school year was one filled with moments of pride in our students.

From early learning milestones to achievements in academics, arts, athletics and service, students across our district showed growth, curiosity and determination. We are especially proud of the Class of 2026 as they graduate and begin their next chapter and celebrate all they have accomplished.

Behind each of these milestones is a community of dedicated adults working together in our schools. Teachers, classroom staff, school leaders and administrators collaborate each day to build strong relationships with one another and with children, creating the connection and consistency that help children learn, persist through challenges and reach new goals.

This year also reflected the heart of our district priorities: strengthening student well-being, expanding learning opportunities and building trust. Within those priorities, we continue to focus on creating school environments where students experience belonging, connection and joy in learning.

While every school year brings both successes and challenges, I was inspired by the resilience and determination shown by students across all grade levels. Time and again, they showed what is possible when they are supported and encouraged.

As summer begins, I hope your family finds time to rest, recharge and enjoy meaningful moments together.

I wish you a safe and wonderful summer and look forward to welcoming students back in the fall.

With appreciation,
