The Issaquah High School College and Career Center is hosting its third annual "College Con," a districtwide college fair, on Tuesday, September 30, from 6-8 p.m. at Issaquah High School, 700 2nd Ave. S.E. The fair will feature more than 50 colleges and universities from the United States and other countries.
Details:
- Admissions counselors will be in the lower Commons from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Beginning promptly at 6:15 p.m., the theatre will be open and University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Admissions Counselor, Ryan Bottimore, will conduct a workshop on how to build your activities list for college applications.
- At 7:15 p.m., Admissions Counselor Amanda Chappell from University of Oregon will offer an essay workshop for seniors beginning the application process.
The event will also include the Issaquah Ice Cream Trike. All Issaquah School District high school students and their families are welcome. A list of all attending institutions will be shared closer to the date.
