Middle School Athletics Registration for the 2026–27 School Year Open Now

Student-athletes planning to participate in athletics at an Issaquah School District middle school should complete their athletic registration as soon as possible. Registration is completed through FinalForms and is required before students may participate in practices or tryouts.

Middle School Athletic Seasons

There are four seasons for middle school athletics during the 2026–27 school year:

Winter 1 - Season 2	November 2, 2026 – January 16, 2027
Winter 2 - Season 3	January 26 – March 23, 2027
Spring - Season 4	April 5 – June 3, 2027

Middle school athletic opportunities may include:

• Co-ed Cross Country (Fall)
• Boys Soccer (Fall)
• Girls Soccer (Winter 2)
• Girls Volleyball (Fall)
• Boys Basketball (Winter 2)
• Girls Basketball (Winter 1)
• Co-ed Wrestling (Winter 1)
• Co-ed Track (Spring)

Complete These Steps Before the First Day

Parent/Guardian

• Register your student for their selected sport in FinalForms.
• Electronically sign all required participation forms.
• Verify that your student's sports physical is current.
• Upload the completed physical to FinalForms.
• Keep the original signed physical for your records.

Sports physicals are valid for two years and may not expire during the season of participation.

Student

• Electronically sign all required participation forms in FinalForms.

Athletic Fees

Middle school athletic fees include:

• $35 ASB membership
• $50 sport-specific fee
• $20 intramural sport fee

For tryout sports, families should wait to pay the sport-specific fee until the student has been assigned to a team.

Non-cut sports require payment of the sport-specific fee before the student begins practice.

All registration requirements must be completed by the Friday before the start of the season to guarantee clearance for the first day of practice or tryouts.

Academic Eligibility

Students participating in middle school athletics must meet the district's academic eligibility requirements.

Students are expected to:

• Maintain passing grades in all classes
• Maintain a 2.0 trimester and cumulative GPA
• Have no failing grades
• Meet school behavior expectations

Academic checks are conducted during the season. Students who do not meet the academic standard may be placed on academic probation and restricted from competition until the requirements are met.

Sports Physicals

Summer is a great time to complete a sports physical before the start of the school year.

Physicals must:

• Be completed by a medical professional
• Indicate approval for full participation
• Be valid for the entire season
• Be uploaded to FinalForms before participation

Physicals are valid for 24 months.

Middle school athletic registration is completed online through FinalForms.

Families should use their Skyward Family Access login information to access FinalForms. If you need assistance with your Family Access username or password, use the "Forgot your Login/Password" option in Family Access.

Please note: If you reset your Skyward password, the new password may not work in FinalForms until the following day.
