Bond Would Fund Student Support, Well-Being, Athletics

Bond 2024

We are committed to ensuring every student has access to the supports they need in and outside of the classroom.

Funding from the November 5 School Modernization and Construction Bond would be used to help provide inclusive, accessible, safe and well-maintained spaces. In total, this area of investment for the bond represents $46.1 million of the total bond funding. This includes safety and accessibility enhancements at elementary play areas where needed, so all students can use the equipment and play together.

Other projects included in this area of investment would include:

  • Upgrading accessibility features for students with disabilities, which may include sensory spaces, assistive technology, learning spaces and playgrounds.
  • Installing lighting at the three remaining middle school sports fields to increase safety and community access (the other three middle school sports fields already have lighting).
  • Replacing turf and resurfacing tracks at two high schools and three middle schools.
