Budget Update: Week of July 29, 2024

The Issaquah School Board will host a public hearing about the proposed 2024-25 budget; the public hearing will be part of the board's regular business meeting at 6 p.m. on Aug. 8 at the Administration Building, 5150 220th Ave. S.E. The Draft 2024-25 Budget will be included in the board meeting agenda packet on the board meeting page of our website closer to the meeting date.
The budget process began last December when the School Board gave input to staff about their Budget Development Guidelines. The annual process also includes updates to the proposed budget based on Legislative adjustments and other factors such as enrollment. The district seeks feedback during School Board meetings and meetings of the Financial Advisory Core Team (FACT), as well as in the annual public hearing.
The School Board is scheduled to consider and potentially adopt a final budget at its Aug. 22 regular business meeting.
