Families with incoming kindergarten students are invited to apply for the Dual Language Immersion Program in the Issaquah School District. This Spanish–English two-way immersion program, located at Issaquah Valley Elementary School, provides a rigorous academic experience where students learn in both Spanish and English through a 50/50 instructional model.
The program is designed to develop bilingual, biliterate, and bicultural learners while supporting strong academic achievement and cross-cultural understanding.
Families must submit a Dual Language application by April 20 for their child to be included in the kindergarten lottery. Applications received after this date will be placed on the waitlist in the order they are received.
