Facts About Renewal Capital Levies (Technology & Critical Repairs)

2026 Renewal Levy Icon

On February 10, 2026, our community will vote on three renewal levies that fund essential educational services not covered by the state.

The current levy measures, which voters approved in 2022, expire in 2026. Renewing provides funding for Issaquah School District students through 2030.

Facts About Proposed Levy Measures
  • These levies are not new taxes.
  • These levies renew existing funding and do not pay to construct any new school buildings.

The Capital (Technology) Levy delivers up-to-date classroom technology, applications, device support and network infrastructure. Technology evolves quickly; this levy keeps classroom technology up to date, ensures safe digital environments and provides equitable access across the district.

The Capital (Critical Repairs) Levy renews support for essential building system repairs and replacements that the state does not fully fund. This includes roofs, HVAC, electrical systems, secure entries, safety improvements, playground surfaces, and field upgrades. Projects address important safety needs, and prioritize the highest-impact repairs to buildings and systems to keep students and staff warm, safe and dry.

Projects are planned across all three ISD regions—South, Central, and the Plateau—to maintain safe learning environments districtwide. View the project list by location on our website.
