Free Youth Conference for ISD Middle School Students Saturday

There’s still time to register for "Power of Me, Power of We," a free youth empowerment conference hosted by Influence the Choice with the support of teen facilitators from Teens Encouraging Community Health (TECH). Originally scheduled for last weekend, the event was postponed due to weather and will now take place this Saturday.
The event will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 28 at Issaquah Middle School and is open to all Issaquah School District middle school students.
Participants will take part in interactive workshops, practice real-life strategies to stand up to pressures around alcohol and other drugs, and gain tools to make confident, healthy choices. Students will also build leadership skills, connect with peers, and leave feeling empowered and better prepared to navigate social pressures.
