Kindergarten Registration

Kindergarten registration for fall 2026 remains open! If your child will be 5 years old by Aug. 31, 2026, it’s time to register to begin school this fall!

Families who live outside the Issaquah School District boundaries may apply to attend our schools through the Inter-District Transfer (Open Enrollment) process. Applications are reviewed based on available space, projected enrollment, staffing, and building capacity.
 

Kindergarten Ride-Along

Are you interested in checking out our big yellow school buses? We still have space available for our popular Kindergarten Ride-Along event on August 11.

Time slots are available beginning at 10:30 a.m., and leave from Issaquah High School every 30 minutes until 12:30 p.m.

This event offers a great experience for incoming kindergartners to ride the bus, learn bus safety rules, meet a few of our Transportation staff and complete a safe street crossing. Parents and siblings, you’re also invited to come along for the ride!
