King County Health Officials Share Measles Facts

Last week, Public Health – Seattle & King County reported the first confirmed case of measles this year in King County, in an infant; health officials shared the public eastside locations where the infant was in the days prior to diagnosis. If a student, a member of your family or you have a potential exposure to measles, please contact your health provider or health officials for further guidance.

There are no cases of exposure to measles in district students or staff that we are aware of. If parents/caregivers have questions about measles, they should reach out to their local health care provider.
