Levy-Supported Sports: 2,675 Participants, New Records

Extracurricular Activities Icon for Announcements

We are pleased to share a recap of the Fall sports season with our community.

This year, 2,675 ISD middle and high school students participated in Fall athletics. Our student-athletes had another highly incredible sports season, continuing our district's strong legacy of athletic success. Local levy dollars from the Educational Programs & Operations (EP&O) Levy provide funding that helps us offer athletics and activities for students across the district.

The current levy will expire this year if it is not renewed by voters. The February 10, 2026 ballot will include a renewal EP&O Levy proposal, a renewal Capital (Technology and Critical Repairs) Levy proposal and a one-year Transportation (School Bus) Levy.

Highlights include:

  • KingCo MVPs, 1st Team and 2nd Team Honors
  • KingCo League Champions
  • KingCo Coaches of the Year
  • Record-setting times in cross country and swim events
  • SeaKing District championships
  • 15 teams competing in WIAA State Tournaments (including a State Champ and top 5 finishers)
Patriots football 2025

In addition to the success on the playing surface - students gained confidence, built friendships, and learned lessons that extend far beyond the games.
