General Announcement Icon for Announcements

Construction of the New High School is proceeding, and program planning for Issaquah School District’s newest high school is accelerating. The New High School will be open in the fall of 2027 and will feature career-connected pathways including engineering and robotics; and entrepreneurship pathways. Those two pathways will be offered for students in grades 9-11, full-time or part-time. A health sciences pathway pilot will also be available for students in grades 11 and 12.

The school will be open to students from across the district, with both full-time and part-time enrollment options designed to expand access and flexibility for students at different points in their high school journey. Students who attend the New High School will have the opportunity to participate in clubs, activities and athletics at their home (attendance boundary) high school. The new school may also offer clubs and programs of its own.

Transportation from across the district will be provided; this will include midday shuttles to and from each comprehensive high school.
