From Influence the Choice: Join Nova Talks and Influence the Choice for an important conversation about two topics parents and caregivers should feel prepared to discuss: child sexual abuse prevention and youth substance use prevention. The online event will take place from 6:30 to 7:30pm on Tuesday, October 6.
Learn practical, age-appropriate strategies for talking with children about body safety, boundaries, consent, peer pressure, substance use, refusal skills and healthy decision-making. Participants will also learn how to recognize potential warning signs and help children of all ages navigate uncomfortable situations with confidence.
