Reminder: Secondary Summer School Registration Open Now

Summer School Options for Grades 9-12

Registration for 2025 summer school for students in grades 9-12 is now open. Each program has different application windows and program dates.  

ISD In-Person Summer School will be held at Issaquah High School and is for students who:

• Failed a course(s)/need credit recovery.
• Seeking Grade Improvement and are currently served on an IEP or 504
• Are incoming 9^th graders enrolling in Bridge to Algebra.
• Are struggling to fit PE into their class schedule during the school year (1^st time enrollment).

Registration Deadline: June 27, 2025

ISD Online Learning Summer School is for students in grades 9-12 who want to:

• Grade improve (D or higher) a high school level course
• Accelerate their current math or science pathway (restrictions apply)
• Take a course not offered in building during the school year
• Accrue a 0.5-1.0 credit to free up space in their school schedule 
• Take Online Health

 Running Start Summer School

Students interested in taking courses over the summer at Bellevue College can read more about eligibility and process on the Bellevue College website. There is a unique summer EVF form that must be filled out with your counselor as well as a detailed process depending on whether you are a new or returning Running Start student. Please be sure to follow the college enrollment process prior to meeting with your high school counselor. If not attending Bellevue College, please follow the directions for your college.

• In-Person at Issaquah High School (Grade 8 only)
  • Incoming 9^th graders enrolling in Bridge to Algebra
  • PE
  • Washington State History/NW Studies

Registration Deadline: June 27, 2025

• Online Learning (Grades 6-8)
  • Accelerate math or science pathway
  • Support class or enrichment class
  • Take a course not offered in building
  • Accrue 0.5 high school credit to free up space in your high school schedule
  • Online Health (grade 8 only)

Registration Deadline: June 4, 2025
