Secondary Summer School Registration Open Now

Registration for summer school for students in grades 5-12 is now open. More information about ISD In person, ISD Online, Running Start and WANIC Summer School included. Each program has different application windows and program dates. Please read more below.

ISD In-Person Summer School will be held at Issaquah High School and is for students who:
  • Failed a course(s)/need credit recovery.
  • Seeking Grade Improvement and are currently served on an IEP or 504
  • Are incoming 9th graders enrolling in Bridge to Algebra.
  • Are struggling to fit PE into their class schedule during the school year (1st time enrollment).

 

ISD Online Learning Summer School is for students in grades 5-12 who want to:
  • Grade improve (D or higher) a high school level course
  • Accelerate their current math or science pathway (restrictions apply)
  • Take a course not offered in building during the school year
  • Accrue a 0.5-1.0 credit to free up space in their school schedule 
  • Take Online Health (grades 8-12)

Running Start Summer School

Students interested in taking courses over the summer at Bellevue College can read more about eligibility and process on the Bellevue College website. There is a unique summer EVF form that must be filled out with your counselor as well as a detailed process depending on whether you are a new or returning Running Start student. Please be sure to follow the college enrollment process prior to meeting with your high school counselor. If not attending Bellevue College, please follow the directions for your college.

WANIC Summer School

Students in grades 9-11 are eligible. Please visit Summer Courses – Washington Network for Innovative Careers for full information and application.
