In October and November, the Smarter Balanced Assessment (SBA) for Math and English Language Arts was administered to 4th through 9th grade students and 11th grade students. The Washington Comprehensive Assessment of Science (WCAS) was administered to 6th, 8th and 12th graders.
The SBA (ELA and Math) scores are now posted in Skyward Family Access under Test Scores. To access and interpret your students scores, please follow these directions.

- Note scores. For further help interpreting the scores please see our website.
This fall's SBA was a "make-up" assessment, meaning students took the tests they would have taken in the spring the previous year. For example, 5th grade students took the 4th grade Math and ELA assessments. The 2021 SBA was a shorter assessment than the full assessment given in the spring. This SBA estimates students' level of mastery proficiency on the standards of the previous grade level.
