Career and Technical Education (CTE) Dual Credit allows high school students to earn college credit by completing certain CTE courses. Issaquah School District CTE courses with Dual Credit articulations can be found on our website

There are some CTE courses articulated with the Pacific Northwest College Credit (PNWCC) consortium, which includes Bellevue College and Lake Washington Institute of Technology. To earn the college credit, students must complete the class with a B or higher, pay a $50 fee, and register through PNWCC during the school year they’re enrolled in the CTE class.

The PNWCC consortium is hosting an upcoming Virtual Info Night Tuesday on June 9 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. During this session, you will learn more about how CTE Dual Credit works, the benefits of earning Dual Credit, and how to register through PNWCC:

CTE Dual Credit is a great opportunity to get a head start on your college and career journey. Ask your CTE teacher, College & Career Specialist, or counselor if you have questions!

Please note: Credits earned through CTE Dual Credit transfer within Washington’s community and technical college system. Some four-year colleges may accept these credits as electives or prerequisites, but transferability is not guaranteed. Always check with the college or university you plan to attend.
