Superintendent Video: Joyous Moments, Celebrations and Updates

Superintendent Updates

In her December Community Update, Superintendent Heather Tow-Yick reflects on the joyful midyear momentum across the Issaquah School District and celebrates the School Board’s 17th consecutive Board of Distinction honor. She thanks outgoing Board President Marnie Maraldo for 16 years of service, welcomes new member Natalie Anderson, and highlights the Board’s adoption of the district’s new Portrait of a Graduate, a framework created with input from community, students and staff, which outlines the durable skills students need for life after high school.

Superintendent Tow-Yick also previews upcoming work tied to the Strategic Plan, future budgeting, the renewal levies appearing on the February ballot, and more.

Tune in to hear the full message, or, for more information about our levies, visit the levy page on our website.
