Educational Technology

Does your family qualify for Free or Reduced Lunch? If so, there are programs that may provide free or discounted access to laptops and/or internet access.

PCs for People is an organization that provides technology for families in need.

The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a U.S. government program that provides discounted internet connectivity to help low-income households pay for internet service and connected devices such as a laptop or tablet. Click here to find more information about eligibility and how to apply. Families who currently receive a Lifeline benefit, automatically qualify for the ACP, and can receive both benefits at the same time. Talk to your internet company to learn how to start receiving ACP discounts.

Additional organizations with options for discounted internet service include the Comcast Internet Essentials program and fixed wireless through PCs for People.
