Three ISD Levies on April 26, 2022 Ballot

Election - Levy Focus Announcement

In case you missed it in the busy time before Mid-Winter Break, we shared that voters in the Issaquah School District will be asked to consider three key levy propositions that would help continue funding for student services, academic programs and support services. These include vital needs such as school nurses, counselors and mental health supports, special education, and safety and security; as well as technology, critical repairs and construction.

On Feb. 18, the district filed three measures with King County Elections for the April 26 election:

  • A renewal Educational Programs and Operations (EP&O) Levy.
  • A replacement Capital Levy: Educational Technology and Critical Repairs.
  • A Transportation (school bus) levy.

“I believe this money is essential for the district to continue functioning at the level of service that our students need – and at the level that our community expects,” Superintendent Ron Thiele said.
