Update: All ISD Schools Closed Tuesday, February 4, 2025
Dear Issaquah families and staff,
Out of an abundance of caution, all Issaquah School District schools are closed today, Tuesday, February 4, 2025. This decision is due to icy and slippery road conditions in various parts of our district. Our teams have been out checking road conditions, and they are worse today than yesterday. Improvement is unlikely to occur across the district this morning as temperatures are not expected to rise until later this afternoon. When making a decision to close schools, we consider safety first for all students, families and staff.
The closure means:
- All school is canceled; there are no Transportation services.
- All programs are canceled, including:
- All before-school activities.
- ECE, ECEAP.
- ISD Preschool Academy, Transition to Kindergarten.
- ACT.
- BASC.
- Out-of-district transportation.
- All school activities are canceled, including:
- Field trips, athletics and after-school activities.
- Extended Day Activity (EDA) buses.
- Community use of district facilities is canceled.
Additional information about programs, activities and our process are available on our Emergency Weather Closures webpage. As a reminder, this closure will impact our school year schedule. We will update the schedule as soon as possible.
