Winter Weather: Where to Find Information About Schedule Changes

Winter weather has arrived. We want to remind families of the ways we communicate If we make changes to schedules due to weather (or other circumstances).

We will share information in these ways: 

• FlashAlert message to news stations and any community member who signs up.  
• Email bulletin to all families and staff members. If you are not currently receiving the district bulletin, you can sign up on our website. Please note that districtwide school delays and closures are not communicated via individual school bulletins.  
• Post on our websites, with a “pop-up” notification.  
• Text message to all families and staff members who are opted in to receive our SMS messages (to opt in, text the word "Yes" or the letter "Y" to the number 67587 from the cell phone number Skyward Family Access or staff information account). If you have already opted in, you do not need to take further action. 
• Social media posts on our official district Facebook, Instagram and X (Twitter) accounts. 
   

If we make changes to individual bus routes or individual schools, we will communicate directly with those families and staff members. 

We care about the safety of our staff members, parents and caregivers, and our community members, too. As always, you should make the safest choice for you and your family.
