We want to honor the important parent-teacher conferences that were canceled due to weather, by rescheduling them for Monday, Dec. 12, 2022. As a result, there will be no school for elementary students on Dec. 12. We plan to keep the conference schedule the same as planned for Dec. 1 but teachers will adjust the schedule as needed to accommodate all families. If your Nov. 30 conference was canceled, please expect communication from your student’s teacher.

We encourage all parents to participate and contribute feedback by Dec. 16. Survey link enclosed.

Election - Bond Focus Announcement

On Nov. 9, 2022 our district refinanced our 2012 bonds, totaling $50.49 million. This refinancing will save you, as ISD taxpayers, a total of $2 million during the next five years. Superintendent Tow-Yick shared that these savings flow directly to taxpayers through reduced tax levies and are not available for district expenses. “This is a direct savings to our community members in the form of taxes they expected, but will not have to pay,” Tow-Yick said.
