2024 Bond Advisory Committee

The Bond Advisory Committee plays a vital role in shaping the future of our school facilities.

This committee has the responsibility to evaluate the needs of our facilities and associated costs, engage actively in discussions, and create informed proposals for improvement. These proposals, aimed at detailing what will be included in the upcoming bond measure, are then presented to the Superintendent, who will use the information to make a recommendation to the School Board for final decisions. The work of this committee is foundational, aiming to support the needs of all students, staff, families, and the community both now and in the future.

To ensure effective operation, the committee adheres to the following principles:

  • Student-Centric: All discussions and decisions focus on the needs of the students.
  • Positive Intent: Members assume each other's contributions are made with good intentions. If unclear, they seek to clarify.
  • Civility: Respect for everyone's rights, differences, and dignity is maintained.
  • Inclusivity: The committee values diverse perspectives and ensures all voices are heard.
  • Curiosity and Learning: Members stay open to learning and evolving their ideas through active listening and constructive dialogue.

These guidelines help the committee function effectively as they work towards enhancing our educational environment.

Note: All meetings of the Bond Advisory Committee were open to the public to observe in person.
