School Year Calendars

Issaquah's school calendar is established in cooperation with staff and the Board of Directors. The calendar is set well in advance so that families can synchronize their activities with school schedules. Please note: Weather-related makeup days are added to the end of any school year or as noted on the calendar.

THIS YEAR: 2022-2023 school year calendar

Notes:

• Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2022 – School starts (Grades 1-12)
• Friday, Sept. 2, 2022 – First day of school for Kindergarten/ECE students
• Thursday, Sept. 8, 2022 – First day of school for Bridge-to-Kindergarten/Transitional Kindergarten
• Wednesday, Nov. 30 and Thursday, Dec. 1, 2022 – Elementary conferences, no school for elementary students only.
• Tuesday, June 20, 2023 – Last day of school**
  **If school is closed during the school year due to inclement weather, March 17 will be the first make up day. Additional school days will be added to the school calendar in June as needed, starting with Wednesday, June 21. No inclement weather school closures in 2022-23 will mean no school for Students and Teachers on March 17.
