School Year Calendars

Issaquah's school calendar is established in cooperation with staff and the Board of Directors. The calendar is set well in advance so that families can synchronize their activities with school schedules. Please note: Weather-related makeup days are added to the end of any school year or as noted on the calendar.

2024-25 School Year Calendars: Spanish (Español), Chinese (中文), Korean (한국어), Russian (Русский), Japanese (日本語), Vietnamese (Tiếng Việt), Arabic (العربية)

Notes:

  • Thursday, Aug. 29, 2024 – School starts (Grades 1-12)
  • Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2024 – First day of school for Kindergarten 
  • Thursday, Sept. 5, 2024 – First day of school for Early Childhood Education
  • Tuesday, Nov. 12 and Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2024 – Elementary conferences, no school for elementary students only.
  • Wednesday, June 18, 2024 – Last day of school**
    **If school is closed during the school year due to inclement weather, March 15 will be the first make up day. Additional school days will be added to the school calendar in June as needed, starting with Friday, June 20. No inclement weather school closures in 2024-25 will mean no school for Students and Teachers on March 14.
