Community Update: December 2025

In her December Community Update, Superintendent Heather Tow-Yick reflects on the joyful midyear momentum across the Issaquah School District and celebrates the School Board’s 17th consecutive Board of Distinction honor. She thanks outgoing Board President Marnie Maraldo for 16 years of service, welcomes new member Natalie Anderson, and highlights the Board’s adoption of the district’s new Portrait of a Graduate, a community-informed framework outlining the durable skills students need for life after high school.
