Food Service Teams win 'Rooted in Excellence' Award for Culturally Inclusive Meals

We are incredibly proud to share that our district received the "Rooted in Excellence" Culinary Award from the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction for Culturally Inclusive Meals!
Our school nutrition team developed three new recipes: Bell’s Thai Curry, Lorna’s Indian Dal and Japanese gyoza soup! Each dish, developed with input from students, families and staff reflect the cultures and tastes of our community. We celebrate our team’s commitment to honoring diverse food traditions and creating meaningful connections through school meals.
