In case you missed it on KOMO News last week, anchor Mary Nam aired a special two-part feature about our VOICE Mentor Program, including the story of Marty Leeds and Ren Hubbell, who were matched up as mentor and mentee when Hubbell was a student at Cougar Ridge Elementary. Now a junior at Issaquah High School, Hubbell is giving back by mentoring a couple of students at his former elementary school. They also shared an interview with Issaquah Middle School Counselor Oracio Valdez, who spoke about the powerful way that mentors can offer hope and support to students.
