3419 - Self-Administration of Asthma and Anaphylaxis Medications

It is the policy of the Issaquah School District that students with asthma or anaphylaxis will be granted authorization to self-administer prescribed medications to treat their asthma or anaphylaxis in accordance with Procedure 3419P.

The superintendent is directed to establish procedures that implement this policy and that include asthma rescue procedures and procedures for responding to medical emergencies resulting from anaphylaxis.
