5230 - Certificated and Classified Job Descriptions
Staff of the district is subject to the regulations of the District, of staff collective bargaining agreements in effect, State Board of Education regulations, State Superintendent of Public Instruction regulations and other applicable laws.
School building staff will be directly responsible to the principal, unless notified otherwise, at their respective building for implementing the policies, regulations, instructions, directives, and rules of each principal, the superintendent and the Board of Directors, given they are not in conflict with bargaining agreements in effect.
Administrative building staff will be directly responsible to their supervisor, unless notified otherwise at their respective building for implementing the policies, regulations, instructions, directives, and rules of the superintendent and the Board of Directors, given they are not in conflict with bargaining agreements in effect.
It will be the duty of each employee to know the rules, policies and regulations of the Board, District, and building.
The superintendent shall be responsible for developing administrative regulations, and procedures to assure that staff knows what is expected of them and how these expectations may be achieved.
Upon hire, periodically thereafter, and if one subsequently changes the conditions of employment, each staff member will receive a job description that identifies the essential functions of the job and provides notice of expected job responsibilities to be performed. All job descriptions will be reviewed periodically and revised when appropriate, and subsequently provided to staff upon revision.
