6250 - Cellular Telephone

The intent of cellular telephone acquisition and usage is to ensure the safety and security of our students, staff, and patrons and to enhance the effectiveness of district operations and communications. To assist staff in meeting these District intentions, the superintendent is directed to establish procedures for the use of cellular telephones. These procedures include but are not limited to authorization for use, rules governing use, records of telephone users, equipment, and lines, and records maintained to monitor use of the telephones and reimbursement for any non-district calls.
