Windows for Surplus Computers

Surplus computers may need to have the Windows operating system upgraded. Follow the instructions below to upgrade your computer to the Windows version currently used in schools. This option is ONLY available to students currently in the Issaquah School District.

Turn on and log into laptop using the following credentials

Username – Student
Password – student  (all lowercase)

Connect to your home internet

Open a web browser and enter the following web address into the bar at the top of the page.

https://Issaquah.onthehub.com

Steps to Upgrade to Windows 10 Operating System

You’ll be prompted to log into your student’s Office365 account to gain access to the Hub

Make sure you’ve selected the ‘Students’ and ‘Operating Systems’ tabs

Select Windows 10 by clicking the link, then add it to your cart

  
                                                     
 

After you’ve gone through the checkout (All FREE), the details of your order will be displayed, including the license key for Windows.

On your computer, go to Windows Settings>System

On the left pane, scroll down and click on ‘About’
On the right pane, scroll down to find the option to “Change product key or upgrade your edition of Windows”, and enter the Product Key that you received from the Store.
