Great Careers Icon

For the 2022-2023 school year, the event will be held in-person on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at Lake Washington Institute of Technology. Students will ride a bus and attend by school at their assigned time:

  • IHS & LHS      8:10 a.m. – 11:35 a.m.
  • SHS & GEHS 11:30 a.m. – 2:45 p.m.

Organized by The Greater Issaquah Chamber of Commerce Education Committee, the goal of the event is to educate high school students about careers they can pursue through on-the-job training, certification, apprenticeship, or two-year degree programs.

The day is filled with a tour of the facility through the different programs they offer. Students then have the opportunity to interact with  professionals representing on-the-job training, apprenticeship programs, military, certificated programs, and colleges with 2-year degrees.
