The Evergreen Philharmonic Orchestra was founded in 1991 by district orchestra teacher Doug Longman. It is a full symphonic orchestra comprised of 80 honor students who are selected yearly by audition from Issaquah High, Liberty, and Skyline. The students attend daily orchestra classes in each high school and each Friday after school, the whole orchestra rehearses together. This group of talented musicians performs an ambitious and varied schedule of concerts during the year, including standard symphonic literature, musical theater, waltz music for dancing, major choral works, and concerti. Evergreen Philharmonic has performed at Carnegie Hall, and has travelled and performed in London, Paris, Montreal, Quebec and Los Angeles.

Evergreen hosts the annual "Swingin' in Vienna," an exciting evening of swing, waltz and big band music. Partygoers are treated to great music, delicious desserts and the chance to dance the night away. This event is also a fundraiser for these young talented musicians who relish the chance to perform in a non-concert type venue and play toe-tapping dance music to an enthusiastic audience.
