Summer School Program
Thank you for your interest in summer school programs in the Issaquah School District.
Please select the grade level appropriate for your student below for complete information on summer school offerings.
In-Person
In-Person High School Summer School is for students who:
- Failed a course(s)/need credit recovery.
- Seeking Grade Improvement and are currently served on an IEP or 504 accommodations.
- Are incoming 9th graders enrolling in Bridge To Algebra.
- Are struggling to fit PE into their class schedule during the school year.

Online
Online Summer School is for students in grades 5-12 who want to:
- Grade improve (D or higher) a high school level course
- Accelerate their current math or science pathway (restrictions apply)
- Take a course not offered in building during the school year
- Accrue a 0.5-1.0 credit to free up space in their school schedule
- Take a course based on learning style

- Dates: June 18-July 21
- Location: Remote, in person testing for most classes

Middle and high school students may be eligible to take online or in-person courses this summer to accelerate, improve grade(s), recover credit, take a course or courses not offered in the building, or free up space in their school schedule. Current fifth grade students (entering sixth grade in the 2024-25 school year) may enroll.

Registration is now open for elementary summer camp! This camp is for current students in kindergarten through fifth grade, and will offer an engaging S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) curriculum.

Registration for ISD Summer School is open. In-person summer school will take place at Issaquah High School from July 8 - Aug. 2. Online summer school offers additional options and will take place from June 18-July 22.
